Early Production Colt Model 1911 U.S. Army Contract
As if this early production Colt Model 1911 wasn't already rare enough, it is also accompanied with the equally scarce original box. The U.S. Army contract semi-automatic pistol was shipped in a lot of 350 pistols to the Commander, Springfield Armory in April 1912. This specific pistol also comes with the original Ordnance Bill of Sale. It has also been carefully documented and passed down through generations of Lt. H.A. Davidson's family.
