North West Wyoming Mule Deer/Whitetail Hunt - Cody Area, Oct 12-18 - Seeking Local Knowledge!

Hey everyone, I'm finalizing my plans for a hunting trip to northwest Wyoming, specifically around the Cody area, from October 12th to 18th. I've got a general deer tag and I'm open to hunting both mule deer higher up and whitetails at lower elevations. I've been doing my research on Google for trailheads, places to eat, and accommodations, but nothing beats local insight! If anyone has some knowledge of the area and is willing to share tips or point me in the right direction for a successful hunt, I'd be incredibly grateful.
