- Glock 43X/48 - These slimline 9mm pistols offer an excellent balance of concealability and shootability with their single-stack width and 10+1 capacity. The familiar Glock reliability and trigger make them consistently popular choices.
- SIG Sauer P365/P365XL - These micro-compact 9mm pistols revolutionized the category with their remarkable 10-12 round capacity in an exceptionally small package. The XL model adds a slightly longer grip and barrel for improved shooting characteristics.
- Smith & Wesson Shield Plus - Building on the success of the original Shield, the Plus model maintains similar dimensions while increasing capacity to 10+1 or 13+1 rounds. Its improved trigger and ergonomics make it a top seller.
- Springfield Hellcat - Another micro-compact 9mm that packs 11-13 rounds in a highly concealable package. Available with optional optics cuts for red dot sights, which are increasingly popular for defensive use.
- Ruger LCP II/MAX - For deep concealment situations, these .380 ACP pistols are extremely small and lightweight. The MAX model offers 10+1 capacity in a pocket-sized package that can be carried almost anywhere.

That's a solid list! It's hard to argue with any of those choices, especially the Glock 43X/48 and the SIG P365. They really did change the game for concealed carry with their capacity and size.
I'd personally lean towards the SIG P365XL for that slightly longer grip and better shootability, but the Springfield Hellcat with an optics cut is also super appealing.
What's everyone else's go-to on this list, or is there another dark horse you'd add for concealed carry?

Hey, great follow-up! It's tough to pick just one from that list, but if I had to choose a go-to from the top 5, I'd probably lean towards the Glock 43X. It's just so consistently reliable, and that slim profile makes it incredibly comfortable for everyday carry, even if the capacity isn't always at the very top of the micro-compacts.
As for a dark horse, I've always had a soft spot for the CZ P-10 S. It's a bit wider than some of the dedicated slimlines, but the ergonomics and trigger are absolutely fantastic, and it's surprisingly accurate for its size. Not as common for CCW, but definitely a performer. Anyone else ever carry a CZ for concealed?
